Buyers and sellers
A buyer is any participant who accepts an existing advertisement.
What they do
- Browse advertisements and filter by country, currency, payment method and amount
- Reserve a trade, which moves stablecoins into escrow before any fiat is sent
- Send or receive the fiat payment through the agreed rail
- Mark payment as sent, and confirm receipt as the counterparty
- File a dispute with evidence if something goes wrong
Stake
None. Buyers do not publish advertisements, stake nothing, and pay nothing to raise a dispute — the arbitration deposit is posted by the merchant regardless of who opens the case. A buyer's only cost is the settlement fee, and only on a trade that completes.
How they earn
Nothing directly. The benefit is competition between merchants and no dependence on a single operator staying online.
Requirements
- A self-custody wallet
- No KYC and no centralized identity verification
- Optionally, voluntary identity claims proving control of an email, Telegram or other channel
